Akar is one of the well known and preferred suppliers worldwide with its asynchronous (traction DAK series) and synchronous (gearless SMT series) machine motors designed and manufactured. Since its foundation in 1985, Akar has been continuously improving its service and quality standards.
 
The lift system, "AKAR BELTSYS®", using the belt was added to the product range following the completion of CE certification.
 
Akar`s factory, which is one of the leading production facilities of the sector in terms of its architecture, infrastructure and technologies, has a closed area of 42000 m2. Akar also owns Turkey`s first elevator testing tower with three actively working elevator shafts, in its facility.
 
Akar Elevator has an annual production capacity of 145000 machines and engines.
Our company, which has ISO 9001:2015-Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015-Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2015-Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificates, manufactures elevator machines and motors in accordance with EN 81-20/50:2014 Elevator Standards.
 
Akar is serving many domestic companies as well as the companies worldwide, exports 60% of its production to countries such as: Italy, UK, Czech Republic, Romania, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Brazil,Argentina, Uruguay, Greece, Russia etc.
